The ideal nanny would have previous experience and be comfortable caring for two infants at one time. The families are looking for a responsible, kind, and caring nanny to provide the best nanny care to their children throughout the day. The nanny would be expected to keep the boys on a schedule and engage them in activities that will encourage development as they grow. The boys will be around 4 months when the nanny starts, so the nanny should engage the children in activities such as tummy time, reading to them, going on walks, and playing with age appropriate toys. In addition to childcare and as time allows the families ask that the nanny help with light tidying up, children’s dishes, cleaning up toys, emptying diaper pail, and tidying up behind themselves. One of the families has a lab/retriever mix, 55lbs, who is almost 6 years old. The nanny must be comfortable with a dog around the home and must not be allergic.
This position starts ideally by May 15th, and pay is negotiable depending on experience at $18.00 – $22.00 dollars an hour. In addition to pay the families are offering continued pay while families are away, and paid mileage for driving the children on the job. The best candidate must also pass an in-person pre-screening interview, background check, reference check, know how to swim, be a non-smoker and drug-free, and be CPR and First Aid certified.
